Beijing Capital International Airport as the government’s airport authority, charged with responsibilities of providing and managing facilitative infrastructure for aviation services between China and outside world, in an environmentally sustainable manner. We share common objectives with UN Environment in terms of conservation, protection, enhancement and support of nature and nature resources, including biological diversity worldwide, and wish to collaborate with UN Environment to achieve these common goals and objectives within our respective mandates.
BCIA attaches great importance to its social responsibility. Guided by the strategy for sustainable development by pooling strengths of multiple parties to create green Gateway to China, BCIA sticks to the philosophy of "energy conservation, low carbon generation, high-tech application and friendly service delivery" in daily operations, so as to promote the sustainable development of the airport.
